This is the 2nd time I’ve photographed Emily and Dave, just because they are in love, which is fabulous I must say! So it became their Rum Village Couples Session. They wanted to have some images because with the fall colors were just gorgeous, as well as to use for Christmas cards for this year (which hey, remember to book those session early Christmas comes fast and fall dates are gone before you know it… hint hint).

Working with these two is seriously as smooth as butter… really. They are in infatuated with each other and just get lost in the moment, they don’t mind if I ask them to do something a bit off the wall to see if it works (and if it doesn’t thats cool). Its a fun shoot with fun people, we chat, we walk (we walked a lot for this one too!) and we take pictures where I make them throw leaves in there and then make out like they are in High School! (I do like PDA if you haven’t noticed)

This session was done at Rum Village Nature Center, great park here in South Bend with some awesome foliage in the fall. Emily brought some of her own props and she really knew she wanted the Christmas lights shot so I provided the power to make those lights work.

So I can’t wait till the next session with these two, because I know it will always be a good time!
