Hollie and Rollie? Absolutely not. So I roped in my truck-driving husband, packed up my gear, and turned it into a full-on road trip to make this Minnesota ice castle engagement session happen.

We headed out on a Friday after they got off work and drove eight hours to our destination. On Saturday evening, we braved 20-degree weather for two solid hours inside the Ice Castles, creating something straight out of a winter fairytale. Cold fingers, red noses, frozen lashes, and a whole lot of laughter. It was challenging, yes, but it was also so worth it.
