My name is Chris Erica: I am married to the man of my dreams, a mother of 5 ranging in age from 5 to 24 years old. Some of my kids are adopted, some are not. Some are autistic, some are not. I am super awkward. I forget names and sometimes call my kids by the dogs name. I LOVE photography but not as much as I love my family.
I am also a lover of Mini Dachshunds, French bulldogs, hairless cats (who I wish to own one day), the curious and odd. I will watch & rewatch Outlander as many times as I can, no shame and Harry Potter too! I have a strong case of wanderlust, and a passion for music from heavy metal to mindless pop. I am connoisseur of tattoo's having well over 20 pieces. My hair color is permanently unnatural, although I was born a brunette.
I wanted to be a photographer since I was 13 years old and the photographer James Nachtwey is who drew me to the art. As an adult I still loves his anti war photography and I also love David LaChapelle for his use of color and surrealistic imagery.
As your photographer I want to document the little moments, the kiss before the kiss, the whisper in the ear, the touch on the arm. I want to photograph your love and your passion for one another.
